About the job
We are looking for a senior subject specialist, known as a representative, for anti-corruption where the role involves a primary responsibility to represent Swedish political thematic priorities on behalf of Sida. As a representative, you will lead and contribute to knowledge building and method development at Sida regarding anti-corruption and coordinate thematic operational support in the area. You will participate in strategic discussions about the operations, for example in management networks and coordinate the team with method and subject representatives for anti-corruption. As a representative, you will also report back on the agency's work within anti-corruption in annual reports and other reporting. Communication is an important part of the work.
You belong to the Results Department, which is one of Sida's thematic support departments and contributes to Sida's work to develop and strengthen results. The Results Department works with a cross-cutting approach and cross-sectoral work.
You will work at our office in Rissne Sundbyberg
Responsibilities
- To represent Swedish political thematic priorities externally and internally in the area based on Sida's experiences and operations
- To be responsible for the strategic development of subject knowledge and method support together with method and subject representatives, as well as capacity development and thematic operational support regarding anti-corruption.
- To be responsible for Sida's thematic network for strengthened anti-corruption together with method and subject representatives.
- To coordinate and lead subject-related assignments towards the Government Offices and Sida's management
- To develop contacts and networks with Swedish and international actors and partners and work for increased impact for Swedish priorities in anti-corruption.
- To follow and report on the development of the subject area through research and environmental monitoring and contribute to thematic environmental analysis
- To contribute to Sida's analyses, including multidimensional poverty analysis
- To be responsible for materials for policies and for thematic analysis, as well as contribute to the integration of prioritized cross-cutting issues and to Sida's development offerings
- To contribute to developing and strengthening Sida's cross-sectoral work
- To contribute to strategic discussions related to anti-corruption in management networks and other forums, including competence supply

Qualifications
Education
- Academic degree with a relevant focus for the position
Language
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
Work experience and skills
- Solid documented experience of international work in anti-corruption
- Very good analytical skills and experience in compiling complex analysis into understandable context and structure
- Have international and national networks in the area, as well as experience in policy dialogue in international contexts
- Very good communication skills, both orally and in writing, as well as the ability to represent and advocate in official contexts
- Experience in leading knowledge and method development in the subject area

It is an advantage if you have
- Doctorate or higher academic education with a relevant focus for the position, particularly political science with a focus on anti-corruption.
- Academic studies or experiences in another related strategic area relevant to Sida's operations and mission
- Experience in leading processes as a project manager or manager
- Experience working at an embassy or in a similar international environment
- Experience in reporting work, writing agency materials, or responding to government assignments
- Knowledge of French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, or another relevant language
Good to know
The position is a permanent employment as an administrator with a fixed-term appointment as a representative for 4 years.
Start date in March 2026. A probationary period applies
Sida offers the possibility of remote work to some extent if it works for the operations.
